  • Don't Use AARP Travel - They are a Rip-Off

I recently booked seven (7) hotels for a total of twelve (12) nights through AARP Travel/Expedia. It was a terrible experience. I was charged immediately upon reservation confirmation for each of these rooms. I would not have gone through AARP Travel/Expedia had I known that I would be charged immediately. Why would I want to pay in advance and have them use my money for three months? In fact, there were several hotels that had even better benefits (than AARP) with prepayment. Booking through AARP Travel/Expedia provided no benefits to me. I cancelled AARP Travel/Expedia... More...

  • Worst Customer Service

I was given a $50.00 credit because of problem I had booking a hotel reservation. On July 16th 2013 I went to make another hotel reservation and wanted to use my credit. I was on the phone for 1 hour and 4 agents and no one was able to help me. The last agent got all the way to payment information when she told me she couldn't apply the credit. At that point I gave up. I feel that I was given the credit as a scam. I will never use AARP Travel center or Expedia. To everyone who is thinking about using either of these companies please think twice because the only thing you will get... More...

  • super horrible RV Service at RV City, Huachuca City

My daughter and son-in-law were really treated horribly at RV City in Huachuca City, AZ. They live in their RV and have for 3 years. They purchased a new RV at this RV dealership/service business called RV City. They also purchased an AC, dome satellite, and hundreds on service, parts, and accessories over the past. At least 75,000 +. There last experience was their last experience!!!! These people made them wait 2 months to replace their blackwater tank. Carriage agreed to cover the costs. After my daughter and her husband had to live (full time) in their RV for 2 months, without a... More...

  • AARP travel center cheated seniors

AARP cheated seniors 8/3/2010 I booked four hotel rooms (Motel 6, in Lodi, California) on July 21,2010 through the AARP Travel Center. It charged my credit card total $295. (Each room: $68 + tax $5.75=73.75 per night) Strange enough, the AARP never sent to me via email a booking conformation, nor any sale slip or receipt. I downloaded from the web site a “cost summary”. When our 8 travelers arrived at Motel 6 in Lodi, we found that the regular rate for rooms we booked is $49.05 ($45+tax 4.05). The manager of the motel said he doesn’t know... More...
